Mark your calendars for the 2012 Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off on April 14. This annual event is the state’s largest one-day cleanup and is part of a partnership between Keep Texas Beautiful and the Texas Department of Transportation.

Volunteers are encouraged to email their event and weird trash find photos to photos@dontmesswithtexas.org, and we’ll post your photos on this webpage!

In the meantime, Don’t Mess with Texas urges you to organize litter cleanups in your area to help keep the Lone Star State clean.
